April First Friday - DIY Catgrass Planters

  • Dog House Cat 5 West Broad Street Richmond, VA, 23220 United States (map)

Provide your house cat with a safe and enriching environment as the weather warms with homegrown catnip or cat grass!

While cats are obligate carnivores, they do benefit from the occasional consumption of fresh catnip and cat grass. The added fiber of cat grass can help with upset tummies and the active compound of nepetalactone, found in catnip, can be mood enhancing. Both grow easily in containers, which can help to deter cats from other prized houseplants.
